You are doing a wonderful job of being the guardian of Leslie’s memory. I hope these items can be preserved for all time and not only at the fickle internet. Any publisher interested in a more permanent preservation?
Thank you so much for your kind words. Actually, I am worried with the fate of all the papers I have been collecting for years. Any cultural institution interested in preserving Leslie’s legacy?
One would think that the British Film Institute should be interested in preserving Leslie’s legacy. But they are archiving only the materials pertaining to British films whereas Leslie made his films mailnly in the US where he is regsarded as a British actor. It is strange that Leslie’s grandchldren do not show any concern about remembering Leslie and preserving his wonderful art for the future generations.
